The Appleyard Agency was one of the first production houses on the Gulf Coast to use the groundbreaking RED digital cinema technology, and we remain the only agency in our region with a RED camera as part of our in-house video production arsenal. Capable of shooting at 4k resolutions, RED cameras have become the most popular tool for filmmakers and digital effects professionals.

We have now upgraded our RED-ONE camera to the even more powerful “Mysterium-X” sensor, a next generation technology that provides even higher image quality, dynamic range and low-light sensitivity. This is the same camera technology being used to film such forthcoming movies as The Hobbit, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and Spider-Man.
